Fujitsu General has taken the basic concept of Multi-Type air conditioning and added some muscle, resulting in a system that can connect up to four split indoor units to a single condenser unit. And they are infinitely flexible with a choice of floor-standing, ceiling-mounted, ceiling cassette, or duct-type indoor units.

There are two modes of operation. 'Simultaneous Operation', which either provides cooled or heated air to all of the indoor units connected, or 'Individual Operation', incorporating a two-circuit condenser for combined cooling and heating. Available as either cooling only or heat pump, the Simultaneous condenser serves all of the indoor units connected in the cooling only or heating operation. For combined heating and cooling, the Individual model comes complete with a twin compressor that can be switched to provided heating to selected indoor units while the remainder continue to operate in the cooling mode.

Now Fujitsu has added the benefit of a seven-day timer. This means that different time programmes, temperatures, air flow directions, and fan speeds can be pre-programmed for each day of the week, providing the end-user with an exceptional standard of personal control.
